WHAT IS MICRO-BLADING?

Micro-Blading is a semi-permanent service that lasts up to 2 years depending on your skin type. It is considered a form of eyebrow tattoo; the strokes are hand-drawn with a handheld tool is known as a microblading pen to mimic natural brow hair.

 

WHAT IS MICRO-SHADING?

Micro-Shading is a combination of hair-like strokes and shading with a permanent makeup tattoo machine. However, we do not penetrate the skin deep like traditional tattoos.

 

WHAT IS SHADING?

Shading is performed with a permanent makeup machine only and has no micro-blading strokes. Typically, great for clients with oily skin and clients with minimum to no brow hair at all.

 

WHAT IS Ombre'?

Ombre’ Brows are all about the illusion. The concept of your Brows transitioning from Light to Dark can be achieved in several different ways.

 

DO I NEED TO BE A LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST TO BECOME A MICRO-BLADING ARTIST?

No, you do not in the State of California. Micro-blading is under Tattoo and Piercing. It is controlled and monitored by the County Health Department in the city you decide to work in. You would need to submit an application and register with your local County Health Department. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you are traveling from another state to take this course, you must check with your state's Local Health Department to learn about their requirements for Permanent Make-up, Tattoo & Body Piercing Regulations. This information is also covered in the class.

 

WHAT TRAINING WILL YOU RECEIVE TO GET STARTED ON YOUR NEW CAREER?

We take pride in the art of Micro-Blading. For that reason, we focus on making sure all students walk away feeling confident and secure in their newly acquired skill set. This class is taught with an extreme focus on detail that is provided with side-by-side assistance from the instructor. Not only will you learn how to Micro-blade, but you will also be taught important sanitation procedures. With guided and at-home practice on latex simulated skin, you are sure to excel with a live model.

 

BRIEF BREAKDOWN OF THE CLASS STRUCTURE:

 

DAY ONE – ALL ABOUT BROW SHAPING (THEORY AND PRACTICE)

You will learn what is micro-blading is Skin Physiology, Skin Types vs. Skin Conditions, The structure of the Eyebrow, Different Hair removal options, Contraindications, Who should receive services, and Pre-Care instructions.

 

DAY TWO – MICRO-BLADING (THEORY AND PRACTICE)

You will learn: After Care, The Healing Process, Frequently Asked Questions (How long does it last? What is it exactly? Is it painful?), and  What happens during the touch-up appointment 

 

DAY THREE – MICRO - SHADING  & OMBRE (THEORY AND PRACTICE)

 You will learn: Safety, Sanitation, Needle types Manual vs. Machine, Pigments & Colors, and Numbing 

 

DAY FOUR  - NUMBING TECHNIQUE AND BUSINESS (THEORY AND PRACTICE)

You will learn: Business $$$, Insurance, Marketing, Social Media, Equipment,  Creating great content Angles, Lighting and preparation for your model

 

DAY FIVE – GRADUATION DAY YOU MADE IT
